Jim Filmont is a highly respected sales executive whose 28 years in the financial and insurance markets have been spent building business success for companies such as Willis (now Willis Towers Watson), Raymond James, AON, Reliance Standard Life, and now FBMC.
Jim opened the Jacksonville, Florida, office for Willis in 2003 with nothing and grew the business to 23 companies of health and welfare clients, representing 55,000 employees and aggregate premium and premium equivalents of $400 million. Jim’s special abilities in building and maintaining relationships catapulted his success and continues to drive his efforts, especially his support of local charitable causes and community efforts.
Jim joined FBMC in September 2020 as a mentor to the Consultants. Jim took over the National Vice President of Sales role in April 2021 and continues to mentor Consultants, while driving strategy and innovation for FBMC.
Jim earned his B.A. from University of Delaware in 1991. In his off time, Jim enjoys surfing, boating, and spending time with family.
